A visit to San Francisco

Last year I had to go to San Francisco for work. My company's headquarters is situated in Sunnyvale. There are worse places to visit! Due to a tight agenda where I also had to be a few days in Vancouver I had very little time to explore the wonderful city. I only decided to bring my Leica D-Lux4 along with me. There was not much point in carrying anything big or large on this trip. The Leica did admirably and I managed to get some great shots.

Antibes in the French Riviera

The EMEA headquarters of the company I work for is located in Sophia-Antipolis in the French Riviera. I'm lucky to be able to travel there a few times a year. Even though it's for business purposes it's always nice to go to a typical holiday destination. What is really nice though is that it is located near some very idyllic and picturesque villages like Valbonnes and Antibes. I've read that a lot of the world's most famous jazz artists like John Coltrane have had records made from live performances there back in the early sixties. Probably not much has changed since then...
I took my pocket camera's along for some trips where I knew I would have some spare time to go out and shoot. I've put together some images from Antibes and Cannes to give you an idea of the place and atmosphere.
